New cost-effective instrument grade RF coaxial cable assemblies

Cal Test has introduced its new Instrument Grade RF Coaxial Cable Assemblies. This new family employs RG142B/U, 50Ohm double shielded coaxial cable allowing higher bandwidth than standard RG58 cable and is cost-effective for general usage. It includes the most commonly used coaxial connectors — N-Type, SMA, and BNC — in five convenient assemblies.

These assemblies feature the company's instrument grade coaxial connectors. Instrument grade comes just below metrology grade, the highest grade for connectors. With instrument grade RF coaxial cable assemblies, users come as close as possible to the performance and tight tolerances of Metrology Grade, yet retaining cost-effectiveness and durability, making them ideal to satisfy everyday testing needs whether interconnecting an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, VNA, or arbitrary waveform generator.

The family provides a complete line of commonly used male (plug) coaxial connectors: N-Type to N-Type, N-Type to SMA, N-Type to BNC, SMA to SMA, and SMA to BNC.

With all the connector options, and two convenient lengths, 60cm or 100cm, there is a full family of cable assemblies for the lab, production line or service department.
