The Texas Instruments TLV7081 is a single-channel, nano-power comparator that operates down to 1.7V. The comparator is offered in an ultra-small, WCSP package measuring just 0.7mm x 0.7mm, making the device ideal for space-critical designs like smartphones and other portable or battery-powered applications.
The device offers a wide input-voltage range that is independent of supply voltage. With an input range that is independent of supply voltage enables the device to be directly connected to sources that are active even if it is not powered.
The device has an open-drain output stage that can be pulled beyond V+, making it suitable for level translators and bipolar to single-ended converters.
