New 400W AC/DC power supply range offers four compact chassis-mount case styles

A new family of compact 400W AC/DC power supplies has been introduced by CUI. The PCM-400 series is housed in four optional chassis mount case styles, including a compact U-frame measuring just 152.4mm x 101.6mm x 38.1mm and enclosed versions with top or rear fan options. Featuring a wide range of available voltages, multiple protections and peak power capabilities up to 700W within a 500µs duty cycle, the series is ideal for numerous ITE, telecommunications and industrial applications, says the company. The PCM-400 power supplies meet EN60950-1 standards, carry UL/cUL and TUV safety certifications, and provide EN55022 class B EMI compliance. They feature 3000VAC input-to-output isolation and an output-to-ground isolation of 1500VAC. The series provides a universal 90 to 264VAC input for global operation and comes available in eight separate single output models ranging from 12 to 54VDC. Dual output versions are also available. The power supplies are rated for operation at full load from 0° to 50°C ambient, derating to 50% load at 70C. Additional features include active PFC, remote on/off control and over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection.
