Available now from Digi-Key, the Allegro Microsystems ACS722 and ACS723 are
true +/-5A sensor ICs, or uni-directional 10A sensor ICs, for use in
lower-power applications that require higher output swings at lower
currents.
The devices employ an advanced temperature compensation scheme for Qvo and
sensitivity that enables improved performance, even at the much higher gain
required for these devices. Providing a full-scale +/-5A sensor with
existing Hall technology was not possible until employing this compensation
scheme which is designed to compete well with other market solutions, says
the company.
