Texas Instruments' MSP-EXP430FR5969 LaunchPad development kit is an easy-to-use evaluation module for the MSP430FR5969 microcontroller. Available now from Farnell element14, the kit offers everything needed to start developing on MSP430's ULP FRAM platform, including on-board emulation for programming, debugging and energy measurements. The on-board buttons and LEDs enable quick integration of a simple user interface, while a SuperCap allows standalone applications without external power supply. The FR5969 LaunchPad is now enabled with EnergyTrace++ technology for measuring MCU current, while tracking both CPU and peripheral states, bringing optimisation for ultra low-power applications to a whole new level, says the company.
