LDO voltage regulator features ripple blocker technology to reduce switching noise

07-01-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Incorporating proprietary Ripple Blocker active filter technology, Micrel's MIC94310 LDO DC-DC voltage regulator is now stocked by Mouser. The device provides high-frequency ripple attenuation (switching noise rejection) for applications where switching noise cannot be tolerated by sensitive downstream circuits such as RF applications. The ultra-low dropout (20mV typical) LDO is rated up to 200mA and operates from an input voltage of 1.8V to 3.6V, MIC94310 allows true load switching of low-voltage power rails in any electronic device. MIC94310 also includes linear current limiting and thermal shutdown to ensure full protection from damage due to fault conditions. Typical applications include smartphones / smartbooks, tablet PC / notebooks and webcams, digital still and video cameras, GPS, mobile computing, automotive and industrial applications.
