Phase control thyristor modules feature pressure contact technology

RS Components now stocks Infineon's phase control thyristor modules (PCTs). The device are assembled with a pressure contact technology that have an electrical insulated base which consists of an isolated copper base plate in a range of sizes from 20mm to 60mm. With their Industrial modular construction the 1200V+ PowerBLOCK modules present a combination of diode / thyristor (diode / SCR phase control) or thyristor / diode (SCR / diode phase control) configurations. Typical applications include soft starters, power controllers and rectifier for drive applications.
