Test & Measurement
Aimed at lower-power applications that require higher output swings at lower
currents, Allegro's ACS722 and ACS723 are now available from Digi-Key.
The devices are true +/-5A sensor ICs or uni-directional 10A sensor ICs
which employ an advanced temperature-compensation scheme for Qvo and
sensitivity that enables improved performance, even at the much higher gain
required.
Providing a full-scale +/-5A sensor with existing Hall technology was not
possible until employing this compensation scheme and we think this product
will compete well with other market solutions, says the company.
