Mouser now stocks Avago's ACPL-K33T Series automotive optocouplers. The
devices offer 2.5A peak output current and are designed for driving IGBTs
and SiC power MOSFETs used in AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
ACPL-K33T optocoupler contains an AIGaAs LED optically coupled to an
integrated circuit with a power output stage. It features fast propagation
delay and tight timing skew. The device also features proprietary RĀ²Coupler
isolation which provides the reinforced insulation needed for critical
automotive and industrial applications such as powertrain DC-DC converter,
EV/PHEV chargers and AC and brushless DC motor drives.
