Chip-on-board ultra high-power LEDs are easy to install

Mouser now offers from stock Osram's SOLERIQ chip-on-board family ultra high-power LEDs. The devices feature simple installation with no surface mount technology (SMT) assembly required. A very small LES (light emitting surface) enables easy optics design, sharp shadows and a sparkling appearance. The devices deliver high luminous flux out of a single LED package with higher lm/$ compared to ceramic based packages, says the company.
