Atmel's SMART SAM V71 Xplained Ultra evaluation kit is now available from
Digi-Key. The hardware platform is designed to evaluate the ATSAMV71Q21 and
other Atmel ARM Cortex-M7-based microcontrollers
Atmel's SMART ARM-based automotive microcontrollers focus on in-vehicle
infotainment connectivity for audio amplifiers, telematic control units, or
head units. The SAM V ARM Cortex-M7-based microcontroller series provides
the best combination of connectivity interfaces including Ethernet AVB,
MediaLB, USB, and CAN-FD along with the highest performance ARM Cortex-M
core delivering up to 1500 CoreMarks.
The SAM V70 is specifically designed for MediaLB connectivity along with
advanced audio processing by leveraging the unique multi-port memory
architecture and advanced Cortex-M7 DSP capabilities. The SAM V71 mirrors
the SAM V70 series features in addition to combining Ethernet-AVB and
MediaLB connectivity, says the company.
