Isolated AC/DC LED driver with integrated 650V power MOSFET

Now stocked by Digi-Key, the Fremont Micro Devices FT8260 family of primary-side drivers targets LED designs. The high-precision isolated devices with integrated PFC simplify LED lighting design by eliminating the secondary-side feedback components and opto-coupler. The extremely low start-up current of 23µA and quiescent current of 1.1mA reduces power consumption resulting in high efficiency in applications such as LED lamps, decorative solid-state lighting and T-8 LED strings.
