Available now from Mouser stock, the Maxim MAXM17543EVKIT an evaluation /
demonstration circuit of the MAXM17543 high-efficiency, synchronous
step-down DC-DC switching power module.
The evaluation kit is designed for a 3.3V output and delivers up to 2.5A
load current. It offers a wide input-voltage range of 4.5V to 42V. The kit
switches at an optimal 500kHz switching frequency to allow the use of small
component-sizes. This helps to minimize solution-size while maintaining
high-performance. The evaluation kit provides a precision-enable input, and
an open-drain active-low RESET output signal. With external frequency
synchronization, this provides a simple and reliable start-up sequence and
eliminate beat frequency between regulators.
Applications include base station point-of-load regulators, distributed
supply regulation, PGA and DSP point-of-load regulators, HVAC and building
control and industrial power supplies.
