Three-terminal current controllers regulate the current flowing through an LED string

12-06-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Designed for regulating the current flowing through an LED string, Exar's iML868x three-terminal current controllers (TTCCs) are now stocked by Mouser. In application, the iML868x are configured in parallel with an LED string. The iML868x can work as a voltage-controlled current source, current regulator, or cut-off. They are suitable for applications adopting periodical AC voltage sources. The PCB layout is also very flexible to meet various shape requirements. They are especially suitable for replacing incandescent light bulbs and linear type fluorescent lamps, says the company.
