Conrad Business Supplies has added two new Voltcraft auto-programing power supplies to its test equipment portfolio. The CPPS-160-42 and CPPS-160-84 variable DC power supplies are well-suited to users who require greater operational variances than those offered by other power supplies, says the company. The CPPS-160-42 and CPPS-160-84 provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for those working in the facilities and engineering (F&E) sectors and others looking for dependable variable DC test equipment. Auto-ranging power supplies, sometimes simply called auto-rangers, are designed to provide a greater range of operation than a typical power supply. The CPPS-160-42 and CPPS-160-84, feature voltage ranges of 0.02 - 42V and 0.02 - 84V respectively and have a selectable output current of 10A or 5A. Both have a power rating of 160W. They are equipped with a USB interface as well as a sense-port for quick and easy operation. The adjustable voltage and current deliver a maximum output power of 160W. Commenting, Thomas Pilhofer, product manager, Category Business Supplies, said: “These two new auto-ranging power supplies from VOLTCRAFT will appeal to MRO specialists, those working in the facilities and engineering sector and others seeking durable, easy-to-use DC test equipment with adjustable output settings.”
