Easy-to-use Bluetooth solution for industrial and consumer applications

Available now from Farnell element14, Texas Instruments (TI) WiLink 8 devices, bundled with the i.MX6, offer an easy-to-use, integrated connectivity solution for industrial and consumer applications. They are pre-certified and offer high throughput and extended range, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth co-existence in a power-optimised design, so that users can accelerate time to market. The Wilink 8 devices offer seamless integration with TI Sitara and other application processors, shared HCI transport for Bluetooth and BLE over UART and SDIO for WLAN, and a built-in chip antenna. Drivers for high-level operating systems, such as Linux, Android, WinCE and RTOS are also available.
