Mouser has signed an APAC distribution agreement with Omron Electronic
Components to deliver Omron products to engineers and buyers in the
Asia-Pacific markets.
Omron is a leading supplier of electronic components, including switches,
relays, connectors, optoelectronics, and sensors that are used in consumer
electronics, computer peripherals, office automation products and telecom
applications. Mouser's new distribution agreement with Omron will allow
electronic design engineers across the world to order the latest Omron
products directly from Mouser. With a full online catalog updated daily,
engineers and buyers have convenient, continuous access to the newest
technologies and components available on the market today for same-day
shipment, says the company.
"Mouser's worldwide distribution and support system is unparalleled, and it
just makes good business sense for us to take advantage of it," said Kenji
Matsunami, president, Electronics and Mechanical Components Company, Omron.
"With this new contract, we have every expectation for continued success in
APAC and the entire APAC region."
"We are extremely pleased to expand our partnership with Omron. They have a
global reputation as an innovator and leader in delivering technologically
advanced components," said Barry McConnell, Mouser Electronics' senior vice
president of products. "Now engineers across APAC can have instant access to
Omron's full-range of innovative products for their designs."
