Wi-Fi / Bluetooth modules for Freescale i.MX 6SoloX SABRE reference platforms

Murata has partnered with Freescale Semiconductor to offer Murata wireless module kits that interface with the Freescale i.MX 6SoloX SABRE reference platforms making a complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity environment for building world-class Internet-connected products. Now stocked by Mouser, the wireless kits offer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth development capability to the SABRE (Smart Application Blueprint for Rapid Engineering) board for smart devices that introduces developers to multicore processing, low-power consumption and leading-edge multimedia and graphics applications on the i.MX 6SoloX series of applications processors. The Murata wireless kits and the Freescale SABRE board simplify product design with a low-cost, feature-rich development platform that allows developers to work with the majority of the processor's primary features with the corresponding software support. The Murata modules are designed to enable developers to minimize development time and effort for connectivity function implementation. The Murata wireless kits feature a world class quality Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, driver software for the Freescale i.MX 6 SABRE reference platforms, require no hardware modification for evaluation, and are supported by both Linux and Android OS. Applications include smart devices, infotainment systems, medical systems (not implantable), enterprise-class intelligent control and data systems.
