Aimed at applications such as shock detection, impact recognition and logging, STMicroelectronics' H3LISx00 three-axis digital accelerometers are now stocked by Mouser. The devices belong to the company's 'nano' family and offer digital I2C/SPI serial interface standard outputs. The H3LISx00DL feature ultra-low-power operational modes that allow advanced power saving and smart sleep-to-wakeup functions. They have a full scale of ±100g and are capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 0.5Hz to 400Hz. The H3LIS100DL is available in a low-profile plastic land grid array package (LGA) and is 'guaranteed' to operate over an extended temperature range from -40C to +85C.
