Versatile phase control thyristor / diode module

Infineon's phase control thyristor modules (PCTs) are now available from RS Components. They are assembled with a pressure contact technology with an electrical insulated base which consists of an isolated copper base plate in a range of sizes from 20mm to 60mm. With their Industrial modular construction the versatile ranges of PowerBLOCK modules present a combination of diode/ thyristor (diode / SCR phase control) or thyristor / diode (SCR / diode phase control) configurations. The voltage ranges from 1200V and higher. Typical applications include soft starters, power controllers and rectifiers for drive applications.
