The new HCC8420 Series high-current chassis-mount shunt resistor has been
introduced Stackpole Electronics. The HCC8420 is rated at 15W and has a
resistance value of 0.1 milliohm and can handle currents up to 350A. The TCR
for this part is a notable 100ppm/C.
The HCC's high-current performance makes it a good choice for frequency
converters, power modules, and battery management for hybrid power sources.
Custom configurations to the value and sensing tabs may be available, says
the company.
