Now available from Farnell element14, Omron's D2FS ultra-subminiature basic switch is simply constructed to ensure high reliability over a long period of time, making it ideal for detecting tampering and sabotage on meters, says the company. The D2FS features a single-leaf movable spring, making it ideal for a low number of operations over a long period of use while keeping costs down. Multiple versions are available for various field applications, including ones with self-clinching, right-angled and left-angled PCB terminals.
