Fairchild Semiconductor's FSA2275 Hi-Fi audio switch is now available from Mouser stock. The high-performance, double-pole double-throw (DPDT) switch has negative swing audio capability. It features ultra-low audio RON of 0.5ohm (typical) at 2.5V VCC and operates over a 2.5V - 5.5V VCC range. It is fabricated with sub-micron CMOS technology to achieve fast switching speeds. The device is designed for break-before-make operation. The turn on ramp time is selectable using an external capacitor (C_EXT) to minimize pop and click during operation. The FSA2275 features THD+N specifications that target a Hi-Fidelity audio quality into both 32ohm headphones and line out type loads (>600ohm). Typical applications include mobile phones, tablets, notebook PCs, media players, docking stations, TVs, set-top boxes and LCD monitors.
