Design & Manufacture
Available now from Mouser, Toshiba's TLP292-4 InGaAs infrared and
phototransistor photocoupler consists of phototransistors optically coupled
to two InGaAs infrared emitting diodes connected inverse parallel.
The devices can operate directly with AC input current. The TLP292-4 is
housed in a very small and thin SO-16 package. Each TLP292-4 has a
guaranteed wide operating temperature (Ta=-55C to 12C) and high isolation
voltage (3750Vrms). This makes it suitable for high-density surface-mounting
applications such as switching power supplies, programmable controllers and
simplex / multiplex data transmissions.
