Freescale Semiconductor's Freedom development platform kits are now available from Digi-Key. The compact low-power boards offer cost-effective evaluation and development for quick application prototyping and demonstration of Freescale's Kinetis MCU families. The platform offers an easy-to-use mass-storage device mode flash programmer, a virtual serial port and classic programming and run-control capabilities. Features include : 1 - Designed in an industry-standard compact form factor. 2 - Easy access to the MCU I/O pins. 3 - Integrated open-standard serial and debug interface (OpenSDA) 4 - Compatible with a rich-set of third-party expansion boards
