Block-style SIM card connectors in a range of profile heights and styles

Farnell element14 has introduced block-style SIM card connectors from Molex in a range of profile heights, featuring high contact normal force and gold-plated, anti-stubbing contacts. The connectors are available in 6- and 8-circuit versions, in profile heights that starts as low as 0.3mm and go up to 2.4mm. The range also features 12-point soldering pads and a choice of three card placement directions (series 47019 only). Connectors for the latest nano SIMs (series 151059) are also available. The rounded geometry of the contact terminals ensures that the SIM card on the connector glides smoothly during mating. Molex block-style SIM connectors are suitable for all types of mobile device that uses SIMs, including smartphones, phablets and tablet computers and are available with different packaging options including cut and full reel.
