Packaged in the thermally-efficient PowerDI3333 and optimized for Power over
Ethernet (PoE) switching applications., Digi-Key now stocks the Diodes'
DMN10H120SFG, a 100V N-channel MOSFET.
The device enables the delivery of power through the Ethernet cable to end
applications. For example, wireless access points (APs), VoIP phones,
point-of-sale terminals, call systems, IP security cameras, and building
management devices. Within power sourcing equipment (PSE), such as LAN
routers and midspans, this 100V N-channel MOSFET switches in the power to
the CAT5 (or CAT6) network cable. The cable provides both power and data,
which reduces system costs by eliminating the power supply in the
end-equipment.
