Now stocked by Mouser, Silicon Labs' EFM8 Laser Bee family of microcontrollers (MCUs) are offered as a performance line of energy-friendly 8-bit MCUs with a comprehensive analog and digital feature set in small packages. The EFM8 Laser Bee MCU delivers state-of-the-art performance by incorporating a 14-bit ADC, internally calibrated temperature sensor (±3°C), and up to four 12-bit DACs into compact packages. This design of the EFM8 Laser Bee MCUs make them ideal for even the most stringent analog application requirements such as optical network modules, precision instrumentation, industrial control and automation, and smart sensors. Featuring a pipelined 8051 core operating a with maximum frequency of 72MHz, multiple communication interfaces, and up to four channels of configurable logic.
