Now available from Texas Instruments (TI), the BeagleBone is a low-cost,
community-supported development platform for ARM Cortex-A8 processor
developers. Boot Linux in under 10-seconds and get started on Sitara AM335x
ARM Cortex-A8 processor development in less than five minutes with just a
single USB cable. For TI-supported hardware platforms, consider the Sitara
ARM AM335x Starter Kit or AM335x Evaluation Module, says the company.
The BeagleBone ships with the Ångström Linux distribution on a micro-SD card
to start evaluation and development. Many other Linux distributions and
operating systems are also supported.
