Aimed at applications such as kiosks, ATMs and ticketing machines, Storm Interface EZ-Access audio-enabled keypads are now available from Mouser stock, providing improved accessibility to display screens for individuals with impaired vision or mobility. The keypads offer a tactile interface to navigate menu based information that would typically be presented via a visual display screen. EZ-Access keypads are ideally suited to serve as the tactile discernible interface for text-to-speech applications. EZ-Access keypads can be used with kiosks, ATMs, and ticketing machines. The keypads feature an advanced audio processor and illuminated 3.5mm audio jack socket for connecting an audio headset or handset. These keypads, which are available in 5-, 6-, or 8-key configurations, are weather-resistant and designed to withstand heavy use and abuse. EZ-Access devices are sealed against the ingress of liquids and dust. The keypads enumerate as a combination Advanced Audio and HID Keyboard device, eliminating the need for specialized interface software.
