High-performance dual-loop 14-output jitter attenuators

23-12-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Semiconductors

Featuring high-performance, integer N, 3.2GHz jitter attenuators, Mouser now stocks the Analog Devices HMC7044. The dual-loop, 14-output, jitter attenuators perform reference selection and generation of ultra-low phase noise frequencies for high-speed data converters with either parallel or serial (JESD204B type) interfaces. The HMC7044 jitter attenuators feature two integer mode PLLs and overlapping on-chip VCOs that are SPI-selectable with wide tuning ranges of 2.5GHz and 3GHz, respectively. Designed to meet the requirements of GSM and LTE base station designs, HMC7044 jitter attenuators provide a wide range of clock management and distribution features to simplify baseband and radio card clock tree designs. With 14 low-noise and configurable outputs, the devices offer flexibility in interfacing with many different components such as data converters, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and mixer local oscillators (LOs).
