Barometric absolute pressure sensor with digital output

15-01-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Test & Measurement

Featuring a digital output designed for low-cost applications, Amphenol Advanced Sensors' NovaSensor NPA 201 absolute pressure sensor is now available from Mouser stock. The NPA 201 consists of a MEMS piezo-resistive pressure sensing element and a conditioning IC. The IC performs A/D conversions and provides the conversion results and sensor specific compensation data through a digital interface. The miniature 2mm x 2.5mm x 1mm HCLGA package makes the NPA 201 Sensor ideal for portable electronics and space-constrained applications such as pressure sensors for mobile devices (smartphones, smartwatches, tablets), navigation, enhancement of GPS navigation, altimeter / barometer for portable devices, weather station equipment and hard disk drives.
