Mouser now stocks the TE Connectivity Measurement Specialties MS5837-30BA high-resolution pressure sensor which features an I2C bus interface for depth measurement systems with a water depth resolution of 2mm. The sensor module includes a high linearity pressure sensor and an ultra low-power 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter ADC with internal factory calibrated coefficients. The device provides a precise digital 24-bit pressure and temperature value and various operation modes that allow the user to optimize for conversion speed and current consumption. The sensors are ideal for applications such as mobile water depth measurement systems, diving computers, adventure / multi-mode watches and dataloggers A high resolution temperature output allows the implementation of depth measurement systems and a thermometer function without any additional sensor. MS5837-30BA can be interfaced to virtually any microcontroller. The communication protocol is simple and does not require any programming internal registers. The gel protection and anti-magnetic stainless steel cap make the module water resistant.
