Ideal for home automation applications, Afero's ASR-1 Secure Radio Module is
now available from Mouser stock. The Bluetooth Smart module enables ultra
low-power connectivity for data communication and comes programmed with
authentication, encryption, and connection management software to ensure a
reliable connection to the Afero Cloud. The module integrates a Bluetooth
Low Energy IC, security IC, RF front end, and crystal into a small 7.5mm x
8mm x 1.8mm package.
The module has a 15.5mA/14.5mA TX/RX peak current and SPI host interface
with additional interfaces available. The Afero BLE Wi-Fi module has an
operating temperature of -20C to 75C and is RoHS compliant.
