Mouser is now stocking the PSMP board-to-board connectors from Amphenol RF.
The PSMP interface is a subminiature interface that features snap-on
coupling. With a minimum board spacing of 12.6mm, the compact three-piece
(jack, bullet adapter, plug) design allows maximum flexibility for
high-density board spacing, and is an ideal solution for blind-mating
situations.
The Amphenol RF PSMP board-to-board connectors, available from Mouser
Electronics, are designed for high power applications up to 200W at
frequencies of 2.2GHz and have an operating frequency up to 10GHz. PSMP
interconnects offer high flexibility due to misalignment and feature the
same PCB footprint as SMP interface connectors, allowing for easy conversion
of applications for higher power handling.
The 50ohm PSMP connectors are available in smooth bore and limited detent
configurations, providing different levels of engagement and disengagement
forces. Amphenol RF PSMP interconnects are suitable for a wide range of
board-to-board applications including base stations, filter units,
amplifiers, and handheld radios.
