Providing a simple solution for implementing motion and positioning data in a wide range of applications, Microchip Technology's MM7150 motion sensor module is now available from Mouser stock. The MM7150 module is designed as a complete, single-sided, small-form factor solution that can easily be soldered to the PCB during the manufacturing process. The device includes the SSC7150 motion coprocessor with integrated 9-axis sensor fusion. MM7150 also integrates high performance MEMS technology including a 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope sensors. An I²C interface to the host supports HID over I²C. All components are pre-programmed and calibrated. Available in a 17mm x 17mm package, the module is ideal for Internet of Things (IoT), remote controls, gaming, and applications requiring data from an accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope applications, says the company.
