A high-speed CAN Transceiver that can operate at speeds of up to 1 Mbps, the Microchip MCP2551 is now available from RS Components. Serving as an interface between a CAN controller and the physical bus, the MCP2551 provides differential transmit and receive capability and is fully compatible with ISO 11898. The MCP2551 is suitable for both 12V and 24V systems.
