Astute Electronics has signed a franchise distribution deal covering the UK
and Ireland with Amphenol LTW Technology, a leading supplier of rugged and
harsh-environment waterproof connectors rated at IP66, IP67, IP68 or IP69K.
Waterproof products available include circulars, RJ45, D-sub, USB, DVI/HDMI,
power and hybrid, which address wide ranging markets such as renewable
energy, marine, industrial automation, rail, lighting, security, medical,
agriculture, commercial defence and electric vehicles.
Commenting, Gary Evans, e-mech divisional manager, Astute Electronics, said:
"Our deal with Amphenol LTW means that we have a water-resistant or
waterproof connector to offer almost any application. Amphenol LTW carries
full quality and product approvals and the company has an in-house test
laboratory that enables it to perform tests equivalent to UL."
