Analog Devices EVAL-ADL5243, now from Mouser, is an evaluation board for the ADG5243F fault protection and detection triple SPDT switches. The switches protect against -55V and +55V signals in both the powered and unpowered states. Its source pins provide overvoltage detection and protection circuitry. The switch is soldered to the centre of the evaluation board. Screw terminals connect to each of the source and drain pins. Three screw terminals power the device. A fourth terminal provides a user-defined digital voltage. A low dropout (LDO) regulator is provided for 5V digital voltage control and to supply the LED. The LED provides a visual indication of the fault status of the switch.
