Compact IGBT gate driver IC with wide input voltage operating range

18-04-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Semiconductors

Available now from Mouser, the Infineon 1EDI EiceDRIVER compact IGBT gate driver IC is a galvanically isolated single channel driver housed in a PG-DSO-8-51 package. The IC provides minimum output currents up to 6A at separated output pins. The input logic pins operate on a wide input voltage range from 3V-15V using CMOS threshold levels to support even 3.3V microcontroller. Data transfer across the isolation barrier is realized by the coreless transformer technology. Every driver family member comes with logic input and driver output under voltage lockout (UVLO) and active shutdown. It can operate at high ambient temperature, making it suitable for AC and brushless DC motor drives, high voltage DC/DC converters and DC/AC inverters, induction heating resonants, UPS systems, welding and solar applications.
