Transient voltage suppressor for SLIC protection

05-04-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Semiconductors

This transient voltage suppressor for SLIC protection from STMicroelectronics is available from Mouser. The LCP154DJF is programmable with a wide negative firing voltage range of -175V max. It is designed to protect high voltage and classical SLICs and against transient overvoltages. Two diodes clamp positive overvoltages with negative surges suppressed by two thyristors. It complies with ITU-T K20/21/45 and GR1089-Core when associated with Cooper Bussmann Telecom Circuit Protector fuse TCP 1.25A. Featuring a programmable transient suppressor with wide negative firing voltage range, it also has low dynamic switching voltages and low gate triggering current.
