Compact quad-band GSM/GPRS module uses leadless chip carrier castellation packaging

The Quectel M95, available from RS Components is a compact quad-band GSM/GPRS module which uses leadless chip carrier (LCC) castellation packaging. It is based on the latest MTK chipset, features GPRS multi-slot class 12 and ensures reliable connectivity with the applications. The module works at frequencies of GSM850MHz, EGSM900MHz, DCS1800MHz and PCS1900MHz and is enhanced with ultra-low power consumption and extended temperature range. Power consumption is as low as 1.3mA in sleep mode. It has multiple embedded powerful Internet service protocols. It uses QuecFOTA to update the firmware remotely and has jamming detection. The module dimensions are 19.9mm x 23.6mm x 2.65mm.
