High-temperature tin-over-nickel terminated multi-layer chip capacitors

A new range of high-temperature multi-layer chip (MLC) capacitors has been
introduced by Knowles. The HiT range of MLCCs has an operating temperature
range of -55C to +200C and is suitable for a variety of high-temperature
applications and offer tin-over-nickel terminations - not previously
available.
With their wide capacitance range of 4.7pF to 3.3uF, over the rated voltage
spread 16 to 630VDC, the devices target applications such as oil
exploration, geothermal, defence, automotive under-hood and avionics
systems. Stable and ultra stable dielectric options, C0G and X7R materials,
are both RoHS compliant and lead free, says the company.
