In stock at Digi-Key, ROHM's isolated flyback DC-DC convertors eliminate the need for photocouplers and auxiliary winding. They are used to stabilise the output voltage of isolated power supplies, methods using a limited-life photocoupler or auxiliary winding with large transformer are typically used for feedback. In contrast, the company developed isolated flyback DC-DC converters that eliminate the need for these types of feedback circuits. This simplifies power supply configuration considerably, making them ideal for industrial equipment that demanded advanced safety functions. Typical applications include FA equipment, power storage systems, and high-power inverters. The lineup includes two models offered in two different package types.
