Available from Mouser, Microchip Technology PIC32MM Microcontrollers are low power, cost-effective 32-bit PIC32 microcontrollers designed to bridge the gap between the PIC24F XLP and PIC32MX families. The device is the first PIC32 family to feature core independent peripherals and is designed to offload the CPU for lower power and lower system design. The devices are supported by the Microchip MPLAB Code Configurator to help simplify and accelerate designs. The microcontrollers have sleep modes down to 500nA and include core independent peripherals such as configurable logic cells and multiple-output capture compare PWMs which help enable sensorless BLDC motor control applications. The microcontrollers are ideal for applications with space constraints that demand low power and long battery life.
