Automotive-grade varistors operate to 150C

Stackpole's AVY Series automotive surface-mount varistors offer operating temperatures up to 150C. This higher operating temperature allows their use in a wider range of environments compared to most traditional varistors that can typically only operate at temperatures up to 125C. The AVY Series is rated for up to 2000A of current and 25J load dump energy. The AVY Series is available in sizes 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812, 2220, and 3225, and is designed for 12V, 24V, and 42V electrical systems.
