Now available from Mouser, the Sensirion SHTW2 humidity and temperature sensor IC features an ultra-small (1.3mm x 0.7mm x 0.5mm3) flip chip wafer level chip scale package suitable for applications with tight space constraints. The sensor is based on Sensirion CMOSens technology, which provides a complete sensor system on a single chip. The chip includes a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, analog and digital signal processing, and more. The device covers an RH measurement range of 0% to 100% and is optimised for 20% to 80%. The sensor operates in a -30C to +100C temperature range and features typical accuracy of ±3% RH and ±0.4C. The operation voltage of 1.8V and the low power consumption make the device suitable for mobile or wireless applications running on tight power budgets.
