Varistors offer multilayer ceramic TVS protection and EMI attenuation in single chip

AVX’s TransFeed varistors, stocked by Digi-Key, provide a unique combination of multilayer ceramic construction in a feedthrough configuration that gives the circuit designer a component that responds to transient events faster. The varistors also provide significant EMI attenuation. The product is an ideal choice when designers are concerned with both transient-voltage protection and EMI attenuation. This is either due to the electrical performance of their circuits or due to required compliance to specific EMC regulations.
