SMD chip LED ideal for backlighting and as indicator

The KPG1-1608PBC-TT-5MAV from Kingbright is a blue colour SMD chip LED. It is available now from Farnell element14. It is an ultra-thin LED at just 0.2mm thick. The maximum forward voltage is 3.1V at IF is 5mA and maximum reverse current is 50µA at VR is 5V. The size of the device is just 1.6mm x 0.8mm, 0.2mm thickness. The blue source colour devices are made with InGaN on SiC substrate light emitting diode. It is ideal for backlighting and as and indicator.
