Graphics display panel allows easy development of HMI

The CleO50 graphics display panel, available from RS Components, allows easy development of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) based on an Arduino-format platform. It is designed to work with an Arduino UNO R3 or compatible host processor board such as the NerO available from FTDI Chip. It features a 5in, 800 x 480pixel TFT LCD panel with resistive touchscreen. It supports landscape and portrait modes with anti-aliased graphics throughout for much finer image quality and giving smooth animations at up to 60fps. It also features direct file transfers between microSD/eFlash and graphics subsystem without using Host processor resources.
